Grayson Swim Club Location Change
Good afternoon Middle School Rams,
Unfortunately, we do not have good news about our partnership with Summit Chase. In order to provide you all with full transparency, we regret to inform you that we are unable to secure a contract with them at this time. We began negotiations with the administration back in July of this year. About a month ago, we were in contact to finish and sign the contract when they told us they were unsure of the rates we negotiated (our previous costs at Swim Atlanta) and we waited for them to produce a reasonable plan. We reached out multiple times this week and decided that if we did not hear back by Today Friday the 7th, that we would consider this a failed mission and attempt to re-establish our relationship with Swim Atlanta. We are now at that point. Thankfully, Scot Davis at Swim Atlanta has been more than accommodating and has taken us back in quickly and at our old rate.
Coach Jenna and I had agreed to move Grayson Swim Club to Summit Chase to both make the commute easier for our families as well as to help a struggling business in our community. Jenna wishes to make it clear that the fault here had nothing to do with Head Coach Mark Medley, who has been kind and helpful in this process. Unfortunately, he doesn't make the contracts or pay the bills or this might have gone differently! We wish Coach Medley the best, but to be able to continue to provide low costs for our families, have reliable first-class facilities, and for the stability of our young program we will be at Swim Atlanta for our practices.
Please find the schedule below, and we are willing to work with anyone to help set up carpools if needed. I know that we are swamped for time, and Coach Jenna wants to ensure that our Rams can be there as much as possible. You should be able to "Reply All" to this message to start asking about carpooling.

Time - 8:15-9:15 PM Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday starting on Tuesday, 10/11
- October: 11, 13,17, 18, 20, 24, 25, 27
- November: 1, 3, 7, 8, 10, 14, 15, 28, 29
- December: 1, 5, 6, 8, 12
