2023 Grayson Swim Club Parent Meeting Presentation

Meeting Recap:

• Coach Jenna, our former swimmers who are in college (fully certified to coach, lifeguard, and background checked), and I will be on deck with our swimmers
• Team Calendar - has all of our practices & meets (subscribe to it or the Google one)
• Dues get your swimmer a swim cap, team bag, and team shirt. Team expenses covered by dues are laid out in the presentation for your review
• 2023 GSC Team Store is live and taking orders. The team suit is not mandatory, but there will be a fitting on 10/02 @ Swim Atlanta from 7:30-8:15 before practice. If not purchasing a team suit, we prefer green, black, or navy suits
• 2023 Team Fundraiser - mandatory to participate. Please follow the instructions and be signed up by 09/29
• Swimmer expectations from Coach Jenna: try your best, be coachable, be prepared, great sportsmanship, try hard things
• Practice is not mandatory but highly encouraged, meets are mandatory but communicate if there is a scheduling conflict we will work with you (communication is key!)
• Parent volunteering: every parent needs to work two meets, $50 deposit will be returned upon that requirement being met
