Middle School Rams,

Please find the psych sheet for this weekend attached, the heat sheet will be in Meet Mobile for those who use the app. Make sure to sign up to bring snacks per the email from Nikki McNab for the team, we will have a drop-off/pick-up table in the main hallway.

Please read the following meet information carefully:

Parking:

Bus parking is in the roped off section of the lower left lot beside Turner Gym. Please follow the instructions of the security guards. Please follow the signs for swimming parking; just do not park in the turnaround/dropoff area or in illegal spots. (see map here https://www.westminster.net/about-us/campus-map)

Warm Up:

We begin warm-ups at 8:45 AM. We ask all families to be there by 8 AM to help with parking, get kids settled, and set up our snack area. Swimmers will be gathered by our snack table in the main hallway of the aquatic center/Turner Gym and taken down to warm-ups at 8:35. 

Meet Timeline:

Warmups will conclude at 9:50, with the meet starting at 10 AM and finishing around 2:15 PM. Please do not leave prior to checking in with Coach Jenna and Coach Mark to ensure you are not needed for any relays. 

Girl events will precede each boy event, there will be a 10-minute break after boys 50 freestyle.

Swimmers:

Swimmers will need to stay down on deck for the duration of the meet while they have events to do. Please try and limit swimmers going back up to the spectator section as much as possible, with them simply going up to get snacks/drinks at adequate times so they do not miss events. Ensure that the coaches know when swimmers are going upstairs. Check in with Coach Jenna or Coach Mark prior to leaving to ensure you are not needed for a relay.

Swimmers should have their events written on their arm as shown below prior to arriving at the meet to help them, coaches, and volunteers on deck know where swimmers need to be. We also recommend packing extra towels, a change of clothes, and goggles. NO FOOD WILL BE ALLOWED ON DECK

Parents/Spectators:

Parents and spectators will need to remain upstairs in the hallway or in the spectator area at all times. There will be concessions available. Some parents bring their own chairs to sit in the hallway with, up to you with your preference.
